May 30, 2017

There's nothing quite like a three day weekend and your toddler letting you sleep in until 10:30 to give you the most positive, possible outlook on the following work week. Fingers crossed this too is a fast one though. I have lots of exciting things headed my way and I'm more than happy for the next week or so to fly by.

If you follow my on Snapchat, you saw my crazy over posting of our Memorial Day weekend. We had some unexpected nice weather and just had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. I'd recap it on here, except I didn't really document it other than Snapchat. In fact, most of the time, my phone was put away as I relaxed in whatever lawn chair my bum could find. Cheers to many more warm weather weekends to come!

Now onto the empties! I mean, these were from March, April, May..... Let's just call them empties in a nutshell because I can't keep up. Sound like a plan?

Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar *CF, *V, *GF -  A million different uses, at an affordable cost. I've purchased several bottles of this stuff and I'm going to come right out and say it had a huge hand in curing my hormonal, cystic acne I was suffering from along my jaw line and neck. ~$8 (at most grocery stores).

Studio 35 Moisturizing Sheet Mask - In the realm of affordable sheet masks, not loaded with insane chemicals, are the Studio 35 line available at Walgreens. I've tried a few, and while I can for sure tell you to PASS on their "hydrate mask" (there's literally zero product on those suckers. A sheet mask should be saturated.), this moisturizing one has stolen my heart.

Would I buy it again? Yes, and I have. These sheet masks actually state "do not use on blemished or irritated skin," however, I personally feel, that's when they work their very best. We all have those awesome skin days and then those not so awesome days. You know, those days where something has irritated your skin and it feels dry, hot, and you have 4 new blemishes when you wake up? Personally, this happens to me when I go to the dentist and they are messing around with my skin around my mouth, or if I try a new sunscreen or foundation that doesn't agree with me. A good thorough clean, and one of these bad boys, and I can expect some relief in just one night! Give one a try, for $1.99 you don't have much to lose!

Nature Made Prenatals + DHA - As most of you know, I made the decision to cut out red meat, and poultry meat from my diet back in January of 2016. I have since stuck to that and have been very pleased with my decision. I have to disclose that my prenatal vitamins, are NOT vegetarian. They are a soft gelatin capsule, which is an animal by product. However, I love the results these prenatal vitamins give me, both with morning sickness, and with the growth of our baby. It's 2017, someone would have called me out, so I'm saving them the time. (; ~$10

Dr. Teals Ginger and Clay Body Wash *CF- You haven't lived until you've smelled this unique, relaxing smell. I can't put it into real words. This body wash is NEVER not in my shower. There's just something about it that keeps me coming back. ~$5

Wet and Wild Eye shadow primer *CF, *V - I LOVE this stuff. Makeup staple of mine for years, need I say more? ~$5

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist - This stuff is just downright wonderful. My favorite use, is in the morning, about a half hour before I apply my foundation or BB cream. Is it an absolute necessity? No, but it's a really refreshing pick me up that really makes a difference in the warmer months.

Would I buy it again? I try to only buy this when it's on sale. For $15, it's not a terrible price point, but it literally goes on sale once a month or every other month.

Free and Clear Facial Cleanser - The name pretty much says it all. A dye free, fragrance free, no bs facial cleanser. Having skin issues and you can't seem to pinpoint them? Or perhaps you're literally allergic to everything? Give this a try for a good old reset.

Would I buy it again? I think I would if my skin was going through some unforeseen issues. For now, I've been loving the Alba cleansers, that worked so well for me during my last pregnancy. ~$8

Thayers Rose Witch Hazel *CF, *GF - I have been going back and forth between this stuff and the Dickinson Witch Hazel for the better part of two years.

Would I buy it again? I've purchased it a bunch of times. I honestly think it works just as well as it's counterpart, the Dickinson Witch Hazel, which is half the price. It just depends on where I am shopping when I'm out. ~$10

NYC Smooth Skin Loose Setting Powder - Rest in peace my beloved. As of May 2017, my local Target, and everywhere else I used to know that sold is brand, has stopped. I haven't been able to find much out, but that typically means the brand is going belly up. It was a very inexpensive cosmetic line with a lot of crappy products, but this one was a standout in my eyes.

Vineyard Peach Shower Gel: The Body Shop - You can hardly see this product above thanks to my whack photography skills, but it's there. One of my MIL's buys these as gifts for me. I always enjoy using Body Shop products.

Boots Botanics Toning Spritz - Another favorite of mine I've purchased over and over again. They recently went through a repackaging, and my local Target stopped carrying them (super angry about this) but it's still the same great product! If your Target stopped carrying the line, you can still get it on line with free shipping courtesy the Red card! $10 (goes on sale at least once a month down to about $7).

*V Vegan products
*GF gluten free products
*CF not tested on animals
