THE MAKEUP MIX UP: VAMPY VIXENOctober 22, 2015
I used to be terrified of dark lips. In the past, I have been known to rock a signature pink pout, rarely deviating from anything in a 5 shade radius. Like all things in life, tastes change, and I'm so happy they do.
After some baby steps, we finally got there. Deep plums and mauve are by far my favorite, but when I came across this deep wine shade, I knew I had to have it.

I wanted to keep it really subtle in the eyes this week. I get loads of positive feedback on my eye makeup and it sends me over the moon with happiness. I thought I'd change it up this week and focus on the subtle side of vamp. Miranda part Makeup Mix Up host, and author of the blog Miranda Writes , inspired my barely there eyes. She's no stranger to skipping the liner, and actually encouraged me to do so this week. With such subtle eyes, I knew I waned my lashes to be dramatic. Of course I reached for my Vegas Nay Classic Charm Lashes. If you're new to lashes and need a few tips, Jaelan , also a Makeup Mix Up host and author of the blog Making Mrs M has a wonderful tutorial here.
