THE MAKEUP MIX UP: HALLOWEEN TEASEOctober 29, 2015
Monday's post was a bit of a spoiler for today's look. Before deciding to go to Boo at the Zoo last Sunday I had no idea what look I was going to use for today's makeup mix up prompt, Halloween Tease. Since I work full time, I typically try to make these prompts office appropriate and I couldn't think of a Halloween look that would work for the office. Hey, one of the girls may accomplish that, but I was clueless.
As many of you already know, Sunday we took our little one to Boo at the zoo, a fun filled trick or treat event for kiddos where you trick or treat around the zoo. Joshua and I are total kids at heart and couldn't resist not dressing up.
Eyes: Fergie Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer , L'Oreal Infallible Shadow in Amber Rush , MakeupGeek Eyeshadow in Cupcake , (Browbone) Milani Bella Ivory Gel Eyeshadow (I do NOT like these, really just trying to use up the two that I purchased) , Wet n' Wild Single in Nutty , Wet n' Wild Mega Liner in Black , L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara , Vegas Nay Classic Charm Lashes , NYX Automatic Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe
I'll be the first to admit the train wreck that is my bow. I am NOT an artist as you can clearly tell. Just an average mama who attempted to draw a bow on her forehead for what ever reason. You know, typical every day activities. I'm not really sure what I was going for, but I just went it it.
Bow: White face paint, MakeupGeek Cupcake (link above) , Wet n Wild Pencil Liner
Face: Boots No7 Stay Perfect Primer , Estee Lauder Double Wear in Ecru , Maybelline Master Conceal in Fair , Physician's Formula pH Matchmaker blush
Lips: Repeat Offender, Maybelline's Divine Wine over e.l.f.'s Professional Matte lip color in Rich Red (not a great product, hence the layering)
Nose: Simple as a dot of black face paint
This look was fun for me. I could be messy, over the top, and it didn't matter because it was pure fun. I hope you enjoyed it, lopsided bow and all! (;
