EMPTIES IN SEPTEMBEROctober 06, 2015
Confession time: I am a product hoarder. I rarely finish anything and my cabinets are full of half used, one time failures. Under my sink is worse, and resembles some sort of cosmetic graveyard where questionable things go to die. That is, until I get the random urge to clean under there (which is like, never).
Recently I've had an urge to use up and toss everything in my stash. Call it decluttering, or what have you, I'm just ready to downsize my junk. With this new attitude, you can expect to see these kinds of posts more frequently on here.
Boots Botanics Organic Rose Toner - I LOVED this stuff. It's smell, it's price point. It was just wonderful. Something about Rose just makes my skin extremely happy.
Would I buy it again? Heck yes, and I plan to after I've finished another rose toner sent by my dear friend, Stephanie.
Biore Charcoal Pore stripes - Charcoal seems to be everywhere from masks to pore stripes. The oil control claims sucked my oily/ combo self right in.
There's a but.....Lots of questionable ingredients. I have really been trying to eliminate as many chemicals as I can in my beauty regime. Since I wear so much makeup on a daily basis, I knew sticking to a natural, no fuss skin care routine would be the best step towards better skin. Let's be real, I'm not giving up makeup any time soon! Plus this did next to nothing for my clogged pores.
Would I buy it again? Sadly no. Too many harsh ingredients and poor results.
L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray - This was pretty good in sticking to it's claims. I did notice longer wear from my makeup and the bottle lasted almost three months!
There's a but.....This product costs $16 at the drugstore. A little steep for a drugstore product. However Walmart does sell a smaller $8 version if you are curious about trying it.
Would I buy it again? Probably. Right now I'm trying out a few different sprays.
Colgate Optic White Toothpaste - Joshua and I went a few months trying other brands and both of us noticed a HUGE difference in our teeth.
Would I buy it again? Yes, already have, but I wish I could find something a little more natural that actually works. Searching...
Wet n' Wild Color Icon Single Eyeshadow in Brulee - If you don't have this in your makeup drawer, you're totally missing out. For just 99 cents you are getting the runner up for MAC's Brule. A similar, yellow based nude.
Would I buy it again? Yes. In fact, this is my 5th one!
The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Wash - Who doesn't want to smell like peaches in the warmer months?!
Would I buy it again? I rarely repurchase body wash. I love to try what's new on the market so for now, I'll pass. This is amazing and is worth buying if peaches are your thang.
What have you used up this month?
